The cover of the Australian monochrome version of G1 Steading of theHill Giant Chief.

The cover of the Australian monochrome version of G1 Steading of the Hill Giant Chief. The front cover is missing the triangle in the upper left corner (of the US version), and the back cover art is different. The bugbear art by #trampier also appears on page 10 of D1 Descent Into the Depths of the Earth. From an ebay auction: https://www.acaeum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?cache=1&p=282688&c=1#p282688

  1. The Goodman Games' 5e adaptations of early modules are planned to have various historical notes and perspective as part of the package... I wonder if they'll include any stuff like this?

  2. Jon Wilson perhaps, though the back cover of this is so obscure it's not mentioned on the Acaeum page

  3. Possibly, but someone might need to flag it for Foulfoot to update. There is a lot of trivia that hasn't been incorporated into the product listings

  4. Trampier's bugbear picture is my favorite illustration, I think, of all the old AD&D modules.
