Hey, anyone from here planning to attend Gary Con X in March? Don't know if there are any Holmes Basic events on the schedule, but if not I'd be up for some pickup gaming (I ran Holmes games at a local sci fi con and at PAX Unplugged in November, could very easily dust those off).

Planning on attending and love the idea of pickup holmes edition games. Maybe even take the same characters through holmes pickup and registered ganes throughout ths weekend :)

ReplyDeleteThur is out for me, since I'll be arriving at the hotel around 10 PM, and will be running a game at 9 in the morning. Other than my games (Fri 9-1, Sat 9-1), my schedule is open right now. I have a silver badge so won't sign up for other games until Feb. I was planning on attending the charity auction at 3 on Sat.
ReplyDeleteIn terms of pickup games, I could run another session of my game for the con, or a tournament version of Corsairs of Tallibar (Judges Guild) that I ran at Tridentcon in Fall 2016. Or I am happy to play in someone else's game!

ReplyDeleteFlying into Milwaukee Wednesday night and driving a rental to Lake Geneva, so I'll be ready for action come Thursday morning; I fly out Sunday afternoon, so I've got from Thurs morning to Sun morning to game my face off : )

Charley Phipps, when are you coming in on Wed.? Our plan is to get there pretty early. We have been dicked around by the airlines enough times that we're coming on the earlier flight just to allow for disasters.
