  1. Ye gods!
And the seller has no feedback whatsoever...

  2. I would love to have one of those sets.. but $22k? That is straight up insane; though I suppose if one was an investment banker or in a similar high earning profession and had money flying out of their posterior, why not?

  3. Considering D&D being inducted into the toy "Hall of Fame" this year, you'd think this would be a big news story.

  4. People spend more than this on bottles of wine that last a couple hours. When you have enough money, numbers like this round to zero.

  10. As Gabor Lux mentioned over on Tenkar's Tavern, it's still peanuts compared to comic book values.

  11. By the way, I have a few pictures from the extra booklet (produced as part a class project) that was included in the auction. The auctioneer sent them to some of us on request. I will post them on the blog when I get a chance.

  12. Zach H, was that booklet rules-related or concerned with the history of the OD&D rules?

  13. It was a school project; there were two pages of course objectives and then write-ups by the students of their experiences.
