Most unexpected part: One scene was highly reminiscent of Fury Road (!), of all things. I checked later & it was intentional!

    Absolutely loved Moana...my favorite Disney film since Beauty & the Beast. My kids have been singing the songs for weeks now...my two year old's pronunciation of the Maori language is uncannily good!

    Agree - my daughter has painstakingly figured out how to play some of the songs on the piano, since the sheet music isn't yet available, apparently
