I posted in the original thread an idea for repurposing this sheet as a random table. There are 12 columns and 8 rows so we could roll a d12 and d8 and cross ref to generate a number from 1-20, weighted towards lower numbers. Color could indicate an additional effect. Perhaps usable for generating critical damage plus an extra effect.
Man, haven't seen those in 35 years. Love to see it now, hated them then.

ReplyDeleteActually, it could generate 0-20 if you count the blank area in column 1 as 0s.
ReplyDeleteMy LGS recently acquired TWO copies of Holmes with the chit sheet intact.
ReplyDeleteOddly enough, me and my brother learned d&d in the 90s using Holmes our mother had, and cut out the sheet.
Ian W. Out of curiosity what are they selling them for (if they are for sale)?
ReplyDeleteNot a clue.
ReplyDeleteUncut chit sheet; must be worth millions! :)
ReplyDeleteI cut them out with great care (and a craft knife) because the hobby store wanted over a dollar per die. Never used 'em though.
