Played Forbidden Island for the third time tonight.

Played Forbidden Island for the third time tonight. First time at the Normal level versus Novice. Our team of three (Pilot, Diver, Explorer) made it off the island with all four treasures just before the entire island sank.

    I've played this on the iPad and found it pretty but unrewarding. I guess I was missing something or it's just better with real people. 🤓

    It is way better with real people. Forbidden Desert is the better of the two, IMO, but it is much harder.

    The hardcopy version could be played solo, but a lot of the fun is the interaction with the other players to just barely overcome certain doom.

    I keep thinking there must be a way to translate it to an RPG adventure without making an RPG adventure a "glorified" board game...
