Overheard today: 20-somethings talking about D&D in public!

Overheard today: 20-somethings talking about D&D in public! I was at the playground today when I heard a woman telling her coworker (they were watching students) something about a campaign from the '80s that was published. I thought "did I hear that right?". But then she went on to mention "her players", so I knew I had. It's part of the zeitgeist again.

    I look forward to experiencing this myself - it'll help me believe the hype of the surge. I overhear people at work talking about D&D pretty often, but that's a skewed populace and not representative of the zeitgeist.

    At a noodle place last weekend there was a date going on where youngsters were telling each other about their campaigns "they started in the tavern then went across the street..." Me and my buddy tried to eavesdrop in between discussing our own campaign.
