Adding Maximillian the Centaur to the bullpen of pre-gens for the Return to the Tower of Zenopus game at #ntrpgcon
Adding Maximillian the Centaur to the bullpen of pre-gens for the Return to the Tower of Zenopus game at #ntrpgcon . Line-up so far - Boinger, Zereth, Murray, Hortensa, Geoffrey, Ambrose, Bardan, Olaf, Maximillian. I was going to have Haldor also, essentially identical to Olaf, but Ajax might be more interesting. Other possibilities I'm considering are Sunna the barmaid (perhaps as a thief?) and Serjeant Lemnos of the Amazons. #brazenheadofzenopus

Hmm, perhaps I'll have a single pre-gen who is two characters - "Olaf & Haldor". Sort of like Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, they operate in tandem.
ReplyDeleteRegarding adding Maximillian, I figured a Holmes game cries out for the possibility of a non-standard type in the party ("...a centaur, a lawful werebear, and a Japanese Samurai fighting man").
ReplyDeleteFeel free to use the bit off the FEI v2 cover, if you need a period-esque illustration of a Samurai... I haven't done the centaur and werebear cover yet. ; )
ReplyDeleteYou could always add Ebeneezer (no matter how he's spelled ;) ) as an option, perhaps the Witch Doctor too, Zach H?
ReplyDeleteEbenezer is too powerful and possibly chaotic. I am tempted by Max. Hortesia is your highest level I imagine.
