Love that the title reads "Rules for Fantastic Medieval Paper, Board and Miniature Figure Campaign Games"! So new a concept that it lacked a name and had to be "described" : )
ReplyDelete"Ironically, the very first draft of the game was called 'Pathfinder'..."
ReplyDeleteAwesome
ReplyDeleteI had trouble reading that and thought it said "Beard" instead of Board. I was wondering what a Beard game might be.
ReplyDeleteFor a second, I thought it said "beard" instead of "board". ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's that typewriter "o", it looks like an "e" - I also thought it said "fer", "medievel", and "beard" - not to mention "Arnesen"! :-P
ReplyDelete"Beard Games" would actually be an accurate description, then or now
ReplyDeleteI really hope the content of this will make it into the public domain! Speaking of which, Zach H, didn't you mention something about sharing the Holmes Manuscript with the group? ;-)
ReplyDeleteYes, I need to get back to that. I had a pdf copy out for optimization but it dropped off the radar.
