A history of Games Workshop is in the process of funding at Unbound; it's 74% funded by stalled, so if you're interested in the founding of Citadel Miniatures, Warhammer, or White Dwarf, this may be for you!

  1. Has anyone heard of this "Unbound" publisher before?

  3. Unfortunately the funding is going very slowy. It was supposed to end in March this year but was extended presumably until they get the money they need or Unbound kills it.

  4. By my rough calculations using the number of pledges at each level, they have at least US $36700, which is 74% of 49595. That leaves $12894 left to go, or 322 pledges at the lowest level ($40), or 234 at the $55 level, which is the most popular option.

  5. Marcin Segit I guess that something like that had happened, since one of the FAQ questions mentioned end of March. Unfortunately, I just heard about this for the first time when Allan posted it, so I think the marketing must have not been very pervasive. Also, without a concrete end date like a Kickstarter means they don't get that end bump.

  6. Zach H I believe that's the way Unbound operates with no dates and no current funding level. When I backed the book in Dec they where in the first month of funding if I remember correctly. Hit about 50-60% around March and then it almost stopped. I'm quite surprised that there aren't many people interested in GW's history and I've seen mentions about that book in various places.
