Call them minions and its the only thing from 4e that I remember in my one time read through the rules. Otherwise, very cool flavor, will definitely be using some of them in my games. many thanks for posting.
Interesting! I've never looked at 4th edition but I just did some quick searching on it. These are meant to stand alone rather than have boss monsters. They also do but a single point of damage on a successful hit to scale them for one or a few 1st level players.
