Lemunda will be your patron when you go back to the dungeon. She has bad memories of that place and has no desire to return.

Steven Muchow.. my Portown has always been more of a swords & sorcery / Dark Ages type town, and my mental images of it and its inhabitants of that type. ReplyDeleteCurious to hear what others' mental images might be, not just of Lemunda but of the wizard in the Zenopus dungeon (at work, name doesn't come to mind) and of course ole' Zenopus himself. In recent years as I've fleshed out more of Portown and the Zenopus dungeon, my own mental image of the old necromancer has aligned pretty well to CAS's character Malygris (http://www.eldritchdark.com/writings/short-stories/39/the-death-of-malygris).
Andy C, I can see that about Lemunda, There is more S&S and Cthulhu elsewhere. Would that I could get a Buscema or Frazetta or Alex Raymond rendering, but I have a budget!

The image link above from Michael May's blog was by a guy on Deviantart (unfortunately I didn't note the name when I posted the link, and can't find the post again since hunting direct links down on blogs is a PITA).
