As Alan mentioned in the forward to Tales of Peril, Holmes' "cache of manuscripts and campaign materials" have found and "[i]f Tales of Peril is well-received, these may be published in the future". I will say these include the original maps upon which the Maze of Peril story is based!

We printed 200 copies for the signed & numbered first printing (+ a few non-signed & numbered copies). Right before Gary Con X, I think we had 5 or 6 cases left, so 80-90 copies. We sold about a case at Gary Con X, so we should have 65-75 copies remaining.

We would like to get a new site up and running. But time is still pretty scarce for us, between our day jobs, convention & publishing stuff for Black Blade, gaming regularly, and family commitments. We've started and stopped a rebuild a couple of times. I just need to bite the bullet and put it together.
I understand, Herman. And I am sorry for the inconvenience of not having a turn-key order system.
However, we have continued to receive and process Black Blade orders very efficiently via email. We offer several methods of making payment (PayPal, credit card, and in a few cases personal checks or money orders), two or three methods of shipping (Priority, First Class and Media Mail), and an unlimited money-back guarantee.
Our current order turnaround generally runs 24-48 hours from the time orders are placed.
Over the years, we've received a lot of positive response to our customer service and order fulfillment, despite the limitations of our now completely dysfunctional website.
If you're still interested in ordering, just drop me a note at tacojohndm@yahoo.com and we can get you hooked up.
I think that would be a great second level for Zenopus' Tower!

ReplyDeleteI may show a sample during my Book Club. I need to ask the other parties involved for permission first though.
ReplyDeleteZach H I would love a sample. I just put Caladan on a map and I'm playing in two weeks. No rush though.
ReplyDeleteIs there any update as to how the stock of "Tales of Peril" is holding out?
That's incredible - just happy knowing those exist!
ReplyDeleteTell the folks at Blackblade you want a module.

Amen! We'd like to publish such a module, too!
Thanks for the good news and good wishes Jon.
ReplyDeleteJon Hershberger are you guys still working to get your online sales more streamlined?

ReplyDeleteJon Hershberger I have been reluctant to buy because of the payment system.
