Purchased them for NTRPGCON last year but they didn't arrive in time to use them. :D I have used them at Cons since then though. It'll be interesting to watch them deteriorate over the years.
Ben Monroe last year I just used it as a map to represent outdoor travel to dungeons and towns. Each hex was i think 2 hours travel. This year I plan to follow the LBBs a bit more closely on its use.
look at those pokey sharp dice!

ReplyDeleteWhy use dice when you can just have a dance off?
ReplyDeleteHow cool! How do you plan to use the Outdoor Survival map in your game?

ReplyDeleteBut... but... but are there discos?
Roller skates?
A spinning, glittering ball?
A cameo by John Ritter, maybe?
I thought about playing disco music during the game but it's incredibly loud already without musical accoutrement from me.
ReplyDeleteIf only it wasn’t so far away! I’ve even got the stuff!
