ReplyDeleteRobert Smith had three careers. I kind of wish he hadn't used the same band name for all three. When people say "the cure" you don't really know what era they mean.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan up through 1992's Wish which came out when I was in college. I saw them on tour then.
ReplyDeleteThat's the cut off
ReplyDeleteZach H People always say that about their favorite bad: "I liked them up until..."
ReplyDeleteIt takes a REAL fan to praise the derivative crap their favorite band made later! LOL
First Cure album I bought:-)
ReplyDeleteZach H , that was a great tour & album!
ReplyDeleteOne reason I dug this album out is that '90s band Luna has a new covers album that includes Fire in Cairo: youtube.com - Luna - “Fire in Cairo” (Official Music Video)
