Christopher Mennell Thanks! Sure, good ahead...btw, the castle in the center is underwater. If you look closely there are fish above it, and seaweed around it.
Michael Prescott I used a mech. pencil (Pentel Click 0.7) on white printer paper. Scanned B&W at 600 dpi on an EPSON WF-2530, with a piece of dark construction paper behind it (a trick for increasing contrasting I googled). Then using Preview on a Mac I just jacked up the Contrast setting (no change to Exposure). I cut and pasted from the background to clean up some errant marks. The uploaded pic is 150 dpi to reduce file size. It's the first time I've done this with a pencil drawing, but I've used the same tricks for ball point pen previously.
Aaron Kesher I did play around with shirt designs for a previous drawing ("Monster Face Mountain"). I was going put Zenopus Archives with the pic and wear it to NTRPGCon, but then I forgot until it was too close to the con.
This is awesome! Can I key this for a map?
ReplyDeleteHow did you get such a clean scan?
ReplyDeleteSweet! That'd look awesome on a t-shirt...

ReplyDeleteZach H can you email me as large a file size as you're able? I have Christian Kessler helping me with this one. thesecretdm@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Reminds me of the work of the underground comix genius Rory Hayes. I love it!
ReplyDeleteMichael Eddie Thanks! I'm not familiar with Rory Hayes but I'll take a look at his work.
