FANTASTIC!
FANTASTIC! EXCITING! IMAGINATIVE! is wonderful! But will there be a second issue? I really didn't find out about issue one submissions until it was too late. however I'd love to contribute to a second issue! Any ideas about what it should be based on? Maybe a dungeon issue based on the same artwork in the book? The skull Mountain dungeon? Or our takes on the rooms in the Tower of Zenopus? Lots of stuff to work with.

Thanks for asking. I may as well make the announcement here, since we've got the interest on display...
ReplyDeleteVolume Two will hopefully be getting underway in a month or so. I will be offering payment for the writing used (part of why it's a month or so away). We'll be tackling the same idea as Volume One, but making a bigger effort to get more people involved, and will absolutely cover every piece of art from the American editions of the book, plus what we can pick up from the British edition. I will be busking for submissions with a similar technique as developed the first time: by posting an image or two at a time to focus the hivemind's attention, and walking our way through the book(s).
More on this as we get closer.
Time to get my copy of the Holmes rules and my Story Dice warmed up!
