Yes. It kind of makes sense since Warlock was one of the earliest attempts to "clean-up" D&D to get into print. It's sort of amazing how little remembered it is today.
I own a later supplement called The Warlock's Tower (1979, Balboa Games) that says it is "designed to be a major supplement to The Complete Warlock, but 1st Ed. AD&D was already out by then, as well as The Arduin Grimoire and others from the "West Coast rebuttal camp." I may have it scour it for additional ideas :)
Fascinating how Warlock (non-TSR, 1975) seems to have influenced D&D, Holmes Edition and beyond.
