Neat homebrew, minimalist character sheet found by Chad Thorson and posted over on the Holmes FB page, newly revived by Michael Thomas. The "B T P K G" abbreviation remains a mystery.

Like I said on FB, I reckon it's Best Total Party Kills, Guaranteed.
ReplyDeleteThe spacing between each letter is quite small, and leads me to believe that writing something next to them may not have been intended. Maybe they were supposed to be circled? Perhaps they are the first letter of player names, to keep track of who belongs to who in bigger parties?
ReplyDeleteAlternate monetary units? "Brass Bits" "Tin Tiddlywinks" "Platinum Pieces" "Krugerrands" and "Gold Guilders"
ReplyDeleteBarbarian Thief Priest Knight G... (gnome?) Some sort of magic user?
ReplyDeleteBut there is class and race sections as well.
Odd place for saves. My money would be on saves.
It could be a reference to the type of game i.e. Basic ... ... Game, i,e. the character sheet is different from an OD&D character sheet. An abbreviation of a specific accessory which this came from? We need a catalogue.
Movement rates? Or score points in a tournament? K = number of kills, G= GP gained B = bonus points P= XP
Slowly, coming around to Michael Thomas theory. :D
ReplyDeleteI reckon it's a name for the accessory. Basic something Player ... etc
I wont sleep tonight. Campaign types? Blackmoor, Greyhawk.
ReplyDeleteIt has to be saves, but what's G?
Wait a sec. It could be a tick-box for which rule books / sets / supplements are being used?
ReplyDeleteLast shot in the dark. Alignment is missing. Bad ....True Neutral ...Good
ReplyDeleteGah. Screw this!
Maybe it is all the other TSR games this dimension-hopping character has visited:
ReplyDeleteB: Boot Hill
T: Top Secret
P: Empire of the Petal Throne
K: uh... Star Frontiers Knight Hawks
G: Gamma World
I think Tony wins!
