  1. Uh-Mah-Gah! I am sooo eagerly anticipating mine...
I got the deluxe leather bound edition (I think - wait is that the $120 pledge tier?). Is that the one that you received/reviewed?

  2. Zach H, I've been thinking for a while that MA would be a mind blowing follow up to the three levels of Holmes Basic. Like maybe the domed city in the Tom Wham dungeon level diagram is full of mutants and super-tech from MA, and 3rd level Holmes D&D characters walk into it unknowingly (you might need to spot them extra HP though).

  3. Wayne Rossi Uncanny - I was just thinking about Holmes + MA for a Science Fantasy game a la Thundarr the Barbarian. The players would use Holmes for character creation, and the DM would use Holmes plus MA for more monsters & tech. Your Skull Mountain idea would be a great dungeon for such a game. What if the entirety of Skull Mountain turned out to be inside the Warden....!

  4. I've never followed KS projects, and I usually delete the emails unread whenever I get one. However, I completely missed this one, as MA has always been one of my favorites. Great review, and I am impressed with all the added goodies in the box!
Yes! MA would be the perfect couplet game with Holmes. GW1e goes perfectly with AD&D1e, so MA has to go with 0e &/or Holmes, although I'd just start with some simple equipment, weapons & a few mutants in a Holmes environment.
I think someone has a "Thundarr the Barbarian" conversion using one or another edition of D&D/AD&D. I may be mistaken, but I think it was Turgenev at DF who did that.
