Chris Holmes This game was set in the ancient mars with oceans, a mashup of Burroughs and Leigh. One faction in the game were Sarks, which I recognized from the Sword of Rhiannon book you gave me. I'll post a link to more pics once our host gets them up.
I love it! Space 1889 Martians, Gorillions (spelling?) and some fantasy figs I think? The buildings are those carboard boxes from the craft store with cutouts as well. Very simple abd effective. I have contemplated doing a similar thing. I have some of the Parroom Station Wastelanders, Space 1889, and elf pirate figures as well as others I want to use in my game.
Dwight Grosso Definitely some Space 1889 figures, the GM Steve mentioned those. He repurposed all sorts of figures for this game. There should be a zillion pics up later in the week.
Zach H Yep! I’ll post here when my blog post goes up. The wife takes a couple hundred photos of these games. I winnow it down to a few dozen and then do a write up.
I should mention that the fellow who ran this, Steve Braun, will be running another of his Martian games at Scrum Con next month --- tabletop.events - Across the Seas of Mars (2 seats left!)
Looks great!
