Very cool, never knew that was a Tom Wham creation - always figured it was DCSIII or Tramp. Also wasn't aware of several of Wham's MM illos mentioned in the article - thanks for posting this!
I have Mertwig's Maze, and have always loved Wham's comical artwork. Apparently there are hidden snits in some (at least 2 that were shown to me) of the Monster Manual artwork, but IDR if its solely in Wham's artwork, or bits added to DIS & DAT's work.
