Excellent. Just starting B2 in our family RPG session (my kids and my siblings). Been heavily modifying the situation, beginning with the party not being allowed entrance into the Keep when they arrive... nobody except bona fide staff enter/leave. They'll have to investigate I've always struggled with buying into the Noah's Ark of humanoids in the Caves, so at least a few races are going to get the boot. Gonna watch the DF thread. Thanks.
I think the Caves make more sense if, like Noah, something has drawn the different humanoids together for a reason. The natural culprits are the Clerics of Chaos, for the purpose of bringing down the Keep.
Yeah, I'm just trying to figure out how that's happening. The clerics are so low level, it's unexplained how they actually accomplish any of these things, or even animate dead for that matter. I'm thinking of hand-waving a higher power that's working through them.
Thanks, Zach! I love B2 but don't have the gumption to pay attention to forums! Thanks for consistently showing me the stuff that I wouldn't get to see otherwise.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Adam. Good to hear, as that's exactly what I've been trying to use the G+ community for.
