Nice list. I was also pretty much all TSR in the early years as well. Dragon helped expand my horizons. I think the TMNT RPG may have been the first non-TSR game that I bought, after I found a real hobby shop.
Yes a great list and I like the story of your home made rpg. Dad's list would have been a lot like yours but would have included Call of Cthulhu and Empire of the Petal Throne. We never encountered Gang Busters.
