Heads up, true believers: Luke's limited edition Garycon dice just went up for sale.

Heads up, true believers: Luke's limited edition Garycon dice just went up for sale. This set of 5 dice replicates the colors (and the 20-sided d10) of our beloved low-impact dice set. 500 sets are available, stock is already down to under 430. Note this is a pre-order. (I was very pleased with the Gary Con IX Dice Bag he offered this way a few years ago.)

  1. The d6 is too big and the d4 too small, but the colors are pretty good matches. The d6 could be a little more on the border of red-orange.

  2. Someone actually asked him about that when he originally posted the idea. He did not remember the pink 20-sider.

  5. IIRC, the pink 20 was not with this set, it came with any game you bought that was percentile based. What those were I cannot recall stbthe moment...

  6. James Mishler Oh I'm sure you guys are right, it was 40 years ago after all. 'Sides, I would never question LG, or Zach H on such matters.
And for what it's worth; in 'TSR-land' back then a LOT of games percentile based; Top Secret, Boot Hill, Star Frontiers are the only ones I can think of.
My point is, you're probably right in that my 35+ year-old pink D20, could've easily come from a different set .

Oh, and good call by the way.

  7. Yes, the white/pink 20-siders set was found in Top Secret and Boot Hill sets, and also sold separately as "Percentile Dice". It would have been nice to have one in this set as a bonus, but it was outside of what Luke wanted to do.

  8. Update from Luke: "Folks don’t worry. We have more of these dice being made. I can offer another 500 for sale online and still have more for sale on site during Gary Con. So don’t despair. After New Years we will get more dice in for web sales."
