Kickstarter for new printing of Swords & Wizardry with all new artwork. Interior text has a few just s few revisions/extras, and still cites the "1978 Holmes Blue Book" for "Alternate Combat Sequence Method #2". New monster illustrations by Gennifer Bone.

In spite of my reservations about the cover, it really looks like the interior is going to be superior.
ReplyDeleteNice artwork. It isn't easy getting that much detail into a b/w sketch and maintain clean lines, but the artist does this admirably.

ReplyDeleteThe interior drawings would almost be worth it, but that cover is painfully bad.
ReplyDeleteThe cover looks like a vagina made of leaves, bones and fire which is inexplicably attracting butterflies.
ReplyDeleteSo excited for this and the evolution in rpg art that it represents. This work is a milestone, especially that cover.
