Over the past few years I've slowly been creating reference sheets for Holmes Basic, under the title "Holmes Ref" - Reference Sheets for Holmes Referees. For Free RPG Day this year, I've made available the first Holmes Ref compilation, a free 10-page pdf. Includes one new item, a blank character sheet that matches the format of the character generation sheet. #holmesref

I decided on magic-user. Leering, snooty, with a long nose and a monocle.
He tried to learn magic missile, but failed. In frustration he studied a light spell but found it far too baffling. Eventually his studies of hold portal clicked and he was able to lock virtually any door.
