I never would have thought that I would collect these, let alone use them in actual play. I have proven myself wrong on both counts.

  1. I made a similar effort to collect the Monster & Treasure Assortments and I was glad I did. The Geomorph I managed to perserve from when I first bought them

  2. Very cool.. I always thought the Monster & Treasure assortments were a curiosity and never used them, then picked up a copy a few years ago out just for the heck of it. Love 'em.. reminded me a lot of the random encounter list sheets in the Gamma World 1e rules, which were both useful for encounters and idea seeds. Massive thanks to Shawn for posting the mapping and character generator links - had not seen them, and they're great!

  3. These are both sets of fantastic items. I was able to get great use out of them when I first started playing and I still find them inspirational.

  4. My Holmes boxed set came with geomorphs and the chits. As a 12 yr old, of course I cut them out & used the heck out of them. I lost all the chits over the years, but I still have the cut-up geomorphs - now arranged in a semi-permanent dungeon somewhere in a notebook. I happened across M&T levels 1 - 3 & a fresh set of the same geomorphs a few years back. Glad to see & use them as is, without cutting them up! The M&T set is great!
