I subscribe to RPT, and, if I'm lucky, get to skim over the articles once in awhile! This one gave me good food for thought - about refining not only the dungeon creation process, but encounters too.
Most encounters are made up on the fly, but if I can tune-in to my players likes & wants, I can create better, more entertaining encounters, and present some role-playing challenges in a game dominated by mechanics & combat.
