The previous assumption had been that WotC would re-release old editions either in PDF or hard copy, but not both. That's why some people were disappointed by the release of the Rules Cyclopedia PDF (meaning no re-print), some were upset by the OD&D boxed set (meaning no PDFs), and a few of us hold out hope of a Holmes re-print.
This PDF release of the PHB shoots down that theory.
Does anyone know the "reason" why Holmes hasn't been released? Since we have the BX and Mentzer available via PDF. And now 1E.
ReplyDeleteThey're going to do a deluxe Basic D&D Boxed Set! ;-)
ReplyDeleteMichael Thomas where can one read about that at?
ReplyDeleteSorry, just dreaming! :-P

lol..gotcha...thanks for the info..I guess that's why a lot of people use lulu and make their own books.
ReplyDeleteNot just any old Holmes reprint/PDF, how about releasing each revision/edition of Holmes? ...AND each version of B2 while we're dreaming! ;)
