A Biblical "Skull Mountain":

A Biblical "Skull Mountain":

"Golgotha is referred to in early writings as a hill resembling a skullcap located very near to a gate into Jerusalem. A spot there is called Golgotha, - of old the fathers' earlier tongue thus called its name, "The skull-pan of a head". Since the 6th century it has been referred to as the location of a mountain, and as a small hill since 333"  #skullmountain

  1. As a kid growing up attending Catholic school, it irked me to no end when, in reading about the crucifiction, my fellow pupils would call the hill 'Cavalry' instead of 'Calvary.' I was having nerdrage before I knew what nerdrage was.

  2. Stefan Poag Lol, Catholic nerdrage is perhaps some of the most nerdy rage out there (irrevent posture when holding a paten,-1 point; the sacred blood is not held in a vessel of worthy metal, -3 points; that's the wrong St. Mary, dope, -100 points; etc etc)
