I'm starting a conversion of B1 into a [AS&SH] adventure. I've posted part 1 on my blog and at DF and I would have posted it at odd74 but I can no longer log in due to their anti-robot security system.
I remember looking, not too long ago, at a Conan conversion of B2 (or at least I think it was B2). It was set on an island and was pretty well done. I'll see if I can find it.
@David McGuire I find that a lot of AS&SH fits in very well with 1e AD&D (which is the game system I use) so I use the setting and some of the setting monsters, but Hyperborea is a pretty bare bones setting, like the original Greyhawk folio or '83 boxed set and a lot of how you want it to be is up to you.
Hopefully have some more done tomorrow on the B1 conversion with some material on wilderness encounters, setting up camp (the dungeon is 30miles from the nearest village) and the first few areas of the dungeon.
I'm not really familiar with AS&SH - what exactly do you have to convert?
ReplyDeleteWhat's your blog address again Jason?

AS&SH is more of an old Pulp style weird fantasy feel, like Conan, Lovecraft & Clark Ashton Smith mixed together.
