The pdf of the 1st edition of Runequest from 1978 is now available on drivethrurpg for $9.99. If you look at the preview you'll note the font is Futura - the same used in early printings of OD&D as well as Holmes & the AD&D rulebooks. This alone gives it more of an "early days" feel.
