It does seem steep at first glance, but he's hand engraving them with a laser and custom jig and then hand painting the "pips." It seems about right for engraving jewelry -- and is more time intensive.
If they were the kind of thing that would sell well, Koplow would have them out for $2 a pop. (Or call them Handcrafted Artisanal Dice, and they would be $150. Grumble, grumble.)
