  1. Thanks for posting, Jason. I spoke with Billy Galaxy on the phone yesterday and he told me about this. He bought the majority of Holmes' gaming material, papers and minis from his family. He runs a pop culture store and is a D&D collector so he is in a good position to process the large quantity of material.

  2. As I wrote over there, it's very interesting to see the original "DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS FOR BEGINNERS" title on the draft. That's what Holmes called the tournament he ran at Gen Con in 1978 and 1979 (see the bibliography).

  3. That displacer beast illustration looks awesome, I hope they will all get scanned and published so we can all learn just how silly TSR was back in the day. I mean even just half of it looks so much cooler than the illustrations TSR did (sorry old school art fans).
