UK Art! From the UK edition of HOLMES!
FEI missed it last time (along with a couple other pieces) -- but we're not skipping it this time!
I'm not 100% sure if this is all of the alternate art from the UK edition, but it'll certainly give you a jumping on point.
It's time for your Holmesian cyclopi! Time for your dwarven belts! Time for your cave-men and your strange...

Time to get crackin'!

ReplyDeleteAlternate history: replace "satanic panic" with "naked panic"...
ReplyDeleteWe had harpies!
ReplyDeleteMy UK print (complete with GW price list on the back) seems to onlu have the standard art - is there a specific UK edition of Homes that had altnertive art?

That wizard and warrior duo (upper left) look like a match for the full page dragon loot illustration in the back of Fiend Folio.
ReplyDeleteJarrett Perdue Great observation! I guessed that illustration was a re-do of the Holmes Basic cover, but missed that the wizard and fighter were the same as in this picture. zenopusarchives.blogspot.com - Obscure Art Friday: Fangorn in the Fiend Folio
